Was Rapper Plies Paid to Promote COVID-19 Vaccine Propaganda to Black Community?
One of the most unlikely people is going viral for a series of pro-vaccine rants. Conspircy Theorists believe it’s another strategic racist move aimed a targeting the least vaccinated demographic, which is black people.
Was Rapper Plies Paid to Promote COVID-19 Vaccine Propaganda to Black People?
Plies went viral after he posted a tweet and video condemning people who complain about mask and vaccine mandates. He also called out people who were criticizing NBA for allowing Magic Johnson to play with HIV, while vaccine mandates prohibit unvaccinated NBA players from being on the court in some states.
Plies wants people to stop complaining about vaccine and mask mandates, because he feels they are trying to tell businesses how they should be run. The irony of that is Federal and state governments are telling businesses how they should be run, because most businesses disagree with discriminating against unvaccinated people, and making people choose between getting an injection or losing their job.
Plies also explained the difference between how HIV is spread, and COVID-19 spread. Interestingly enough back in the 90s when his HIV diagnosis went public, NBA players like Charles Barkley almost refused to be on the same court with Magic Johnson.
Take a look at Plies “randomly” pushing COVID-19 vaccine propaganda to the hip-hop community.

This History of Tactics Used to Promote COVID Vaccine Propaganda to Black People
Now it may seem farfetched that Plies was paid to promote COVID vaccine propaganda, but take a look at some examples of how the black community has been targeted with vaccine propaganda in ways that could actually be considered racist.
For example in Arkansas they used a possible drug dealer to promote COVID-19 vaccine to the black community.
Before that New York released a rap video to promote COVID vaccine to the black community.
If you haven’t noticed a trend here, it seems tactics such as using rappers, rap music, and possible drug dealers are used to promote the vaccine to black people, which seems racist. This is why people believe that Plies was paid to promote the COVID-19 vaccine too.
How Many Black People Have Been Vaccinated in Comparison to Other Races?
As of October 2021, around 40% of black people have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine, a number that is much lower if you are only counting people who are fully vaccinated. By comparison 54% of white people have received one dose, and 51% of Hispanic people have received at least one dose. Going by the stats a black person is more likely to be unvaccinated than vaccinated, which isn’t surprising given the United States’ sketchy history of using vaccines to harm black people.
Interestingly enough recent data from the UK PHE COVID Surveillance report shows that fully vaccinated people are catching COVID at much higher rates than unvaccinated people. Also former CDC director Robert Redfield recently announced that in the past 8 weeks 40% of people who died from COVID in Maryland were fully vaccinated.
