Rapper Mystikal was released from prison after rape charges against him were dropped. Since 2004 Mystikal has been in and out of prison with charges of sexual assaults and rape looming over him numerous times.
In 2004 he was sentenced to 6 years, of which he served the full sentence. In 2017 he was indicted again on rape and kidnapping charges, then sentenced to another 6 years. It appears Mystikal beat those rape charges that would have had him in prison until 2023.
A viral video shows Mystikal walking out prison a free man.
While various news outlets are reporting this video as recent, it’s surprising that no one has masks on. It could possibly be old footage from another time he was released, but Mystikal was in fact released from prison this month.
Hopefully he can stay out of trouble with the law.
