July 4th is off to an explosive start in Maryland, and it wasn’t intentional. A fireworks truck exploded in Ocean City Maryland causing mass panic as people ran for safety. Viral video shows the massive cloud of smoke that looked like a bomb was just set off.
At the moment there are no details on what led to the fireworks truck exploding in Maryland, but it could be due to heat or shaking within the containers they were held in. In the video fireworks were still going off making the cloud of smoking increase even more in size. Most people appeared to be a safe distance from the blast zone.
Most people don’t think of fireworks as something that could be a danger to the public, but when you have a mass amount going off at the same time in the same place you basically have a bomb.
Luckily there are no reports of any injuries, but the story is still developing.
