Dustin Diamond aka Screech from Saved by The Bell Dead at 44 Years After Succumbing to Small Cell Carcinoma Lung Cancer
Dustin Diamond aka Screech from Saved by The Bell is dead at 44 years old after succumbing to small cell carcinoma lung cancer. It was only three weeks ago that he found out he had stage 4 lung cancer.
Dustin Diamond started his acting career as a kid before playing the Screech character most people remember him by in Save the By the Bell for almost thirteen years. He also appeared in a revival of the series called “Saved by the bell: The New Class”, where he played Principal Belding’s assistant at Bayside Highschool.

Dustin Diamond got married to Jennifer Misner in 2009 and they divorced in 2013, and had no known kids. He went through his ups and down throughout life including filing for bankruptcy in 2001 due to financial woes, and getting arrested for having a knife in 2014 after a bar fight.
At the time of his death he had recently relocated to Florida after putting his Port Washington home up for sale.
