Many people expressed their surprise and amusement at seeing Jokic’s moves, as he is known for his calm and reserved personality on the court. Some also praised him for enjoying his well-deserved vacation after a grueling season.
Jokic, who turned 28 in February, had a historic season with the Nuggets. He averaged 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game, while shooting 63.2% from the field and 38.3% from three-point range. He holds the record as the first center to win the MVP award since Shaquille O’Neal in 2000, and the first player in NBA history to win it as a second-round draft pick.
